Die-cut tree notelet

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 10 Mar, 2017

This sweet little notelet can be tailored to any occasion, and adapted to different seasons with different colour combinations. This card is great on its own, or perfect to co-ordinate with the gift box set.

1. Cover a 4 x 4" white card blank in your choice of Festive Fauna paper. Use a craft knife and metal ruler positioned flush with the edge of the card to ensure there are no areas where the paper overhangs. Die cut another tree from Xcut Xtras Adhesive Cork Sheets and adhere to the right-hand side of the card. Trim off any excess with a pair of scissors.

2. Use both leaf dies from the family tree die set to cut numerous shades of green and brown cardstock and copper metal sheets, along with two blue birds. Secure the leaves in clusters with tacky glue, positioning the odd one or two by themselves. Create height by using square foam pads to attach both birds and a few of the leaves.

3. Position a die-cut banner from the family tree set centrally along the bottom of the card, again using foam pads to create height. Fix adhesive wooden alphas on top to create your personalised greeting.

This project co-ordinates with a mini gift box that you are able to find here.
