Geometric Kraft mini makes

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 18 Jul, 2016

We still can’t get enough of the on-trend, ultra-edgy Geometric Kraft collection, no matter how much we craft with it! Here’s a dinky little list of five mini makes you can create from the luxurious matt papers, cards and embellishments, courtesy of our brilliant Project Design Team.

Teeny notelets

These sweet little cards can be made up in a jiffy. Take a ‘Hello’ die-cut from the ultimate pack and mat it onto blue cardstock. Cut around it to form a border and stick to a Geometric Kraft mini card blank. Palm punch hearts from gold glitter card and layer onto funky foam. Trim around the shapes with a small pair of scissors and stick on top of the die-cut. Finish with a 3D bow. Repeat the same techniques to make many more!

Decorated envelopes

Little pockets are just the thing to tuck notes, photos and memorabilia in for scrapbook pages (or our latest obsession: happy mail!). For these miniature envelopes, simply pop out the die-cuts in the ultimate pack and assemble with double-sided tape. Embellish with die-cut sentiments. Secure to your page (or envelope) with a peg, decorated with strips of craft tape.

Mini gift boxes

Got a tiny gift that needs wrapping? Look no further! Assemble the die-cut bows and gift boxes from the Geometric Kraft ultimate pack. Pop out a few banners and sentiments and glue to the lid, writing a little note on one if you wish. Stick the bow on top to finish.

Lollipop stick bracelets

These DIY bracelets are brilliant for summer; all you need are twine, lollipop sticks and papers to decorate. Soften a couple of lollipop sticks by leaving them in hot water for a few hours. Carefully punch a hole in each end with an Xcut Screw Hole Punch. Place them in a cup or a jar, bending them around the edge to give them shape. Leave them to dry for a few hours until they are hard again. Take them out of the container and decorate with strips of patterned paper, using tacky glue. Snip a length of twine and tie through both of the holes, measuring it so that you can slide it on and off your wrist with ease. New accessories: sorted!

Planner embellishments

These bedecked paper clips are just the thing for personalised planners or lovely scrapbook layouts. Take the largest bunting mini die and die-cut a series of Geometric Kraft scalloped shapes. Fold the top edge over a paper clip and fix in place with tacky glue. Die cut some smaller flags from patterned vellum and adhere on top. Complete with teeny die-cut sentiments and Geometric Kraft embellishments.
