Geometric magnets

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 06 Sep, 2017

If you’re crazy about clay, this quick make is the one for you! Create these geometric woodland characters using FIMO: a polymer clay that hardens once baked… ideal for fridge magnets! With so many different colours (including glitter and translucent), there are endless possibilities for what you can make.

1. To create your own cute friends for the fridge, begin by transferring the templates on page 93 onto vellum, and cut out. Place each section on top of some rolled-out clay and use a craft knife to cut each shape.

2. Construct each animal on a sheet of greaseproof paper, carefully accentuating the lines with a craft knife and making sure not to cut all the way through.

3. Place onto a baking tray and bake at 110°C for 30 minutes. Attach magnetic tape to the back of each animal to finish!
