Get well shaker card

Simple cards can be just as effective as the rest! Try your hand at this colourful shaker card with a thoughtful sentiment.

1. Cover the front of an A5 card blank with a white patterned Forever Friends Opulent paper. Trim a narrow white cardstock panel to fit across the card front, and scallop the bottom edge with an Xcut border punch. Stamp the sentiment 'Get well soon', using black pigment ink and the Creativity Essentials Lower Case Script Alphabet Set. Attach towards the bottom of the card front with 3D foam tape.

2. Trim two 4 x 4cm squares of vellum and layer together. Use a thick piece of foam and an Xcut embossing pen to pierce holes all the way around the edges. Sew up the teabag, stitching through the holes with a needle and a length of yellow thread. When three sides are sewn, filll the bag with palm-punched hearts and stitch the remaining side closed.

3. Die cut the filigree tea cup from the Xcut Tea and Biscuits Die Set. Cut off the rim at the very top and fussy cut a white cup shape to fix to the reverse, using a craft knife or a small pair of scissors. Die cut the teabag tag from pink cardstock and trim off the larger end. Attach the cut end to the back of the teabag.

4. Arrange onto the card front and stick in place with double-sided tape and 3D foam pads. Decorate with three palm-punched hearts to finish.
