Craft this swift and simple card for Grandad's birthday, Father's Day or even simply to send a note. This steampunk aperture card created from silver metal will go wonderfully with a treasured black and white photograph.
1. Place a silver Xcut Xtras metal sheet into the Xcut Steampunk Cogs Cut & Emboss folder and run through the Xpress machine. Lay the embossed panel onto a piece of felt and poke dots all over the sunken areas with an embossing pen.
2. Paint the panel with black acrylic paint. When it’s starting to dry, wipe the raised areas and dab the dotted areas. Stamp a sentiment and pop a photo in the aperture to personalise.
3. Layer the panel onto black cardstock and distress the edges a little. Pop onto a white card black and add a little black ink to create an ageing effect.
