Wish them on their way and into a bright future with this new job notelet crafted with Willson Wood and Xcut Xtras Adhesive Wood Effect Sheet.
1. Trim a panel of white cardstock to 4.5 x 13". Make a fold through the centre with a paper creaser, creating a top-folding card blank. Cover the card front with Willson Wood patterned paper. Cut a 4 x 16.5cm piece of wood-effect paper and attach towards the right-hand side.
2. Use an Xcut Xtrim Lite to cut a thin green strip with a wavy edge, and glue up against the wooden panel. Fix a patterned die-cut border over the top. Trim two 9 x 13cm panels from kraft cardstock and cover one with an Xcut Xtras Adhesive Wood Effect Sheet. Round all the edges with a corner punch and attach together with double-sided tape.
3. Take a sheet of lined notebook paper and lightly distress the edges, gently dabbing them with dark orange pigment ink and a sponge. Make a tea cup stain in the bottom right-hand corner by stamping a circle shape using an old cardboard tube.
4. Stamp the sentiment with various different alphabet stamp sets and black pigment ink. Die cut ‘Job’ from black cardstock and glue in place at the bottom. Attach a ‘Best wishes’ die-cut sentiment to the top, along with a copper bulldog clip. Fix two pieces of funky foam to the back and stick in the centre of the card front. Finish with some acorn die-cuts.
