Willson Wood tie card

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 08 Nov, 2016

If you're struggling with card ideas for a male in your life, this little Willson Wood number could be the thing to tie your birthday plans. With stylish dimension from layers and embellishments, this project is sure to be a hit.

1. Emboss a piece of cream cardstock using the Xcut Oak Leaf Embossing Folder. Adhere onto a sheet of Willson Wood leaf paper, cut to size, with double-sided tape.

2. Create your tie shape by drawing the two separate parts onto blue Willson Wood paper. Adhere onto a sheet of cream cardstock and trim around the edge, leaving a small border. Fix onto the cream card front with 3D foam tape. Layer the fox die-cut onto the bottom of the tie.

3. Ink the edges of the die-cut ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment so that it stands out, and layer onto the right-hand side of the card. Add the toadstool and mushroom around the sentiment to finish.
