Wood-effect scrapbook layout

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 09 Feb, 2017

We love combining paper collections to create an unlikely fusion, just like this scrapbook layout mixing Mr Smith's Workshop and Willson Wood. The subtle distress of the paper complements the wood-effect background perfectly, and the carefully selected decoupage adds to the clean and simple finish.

1. Select the leaf-patterned paper from the Willson Wood A4 paper pack, and cut the page in half diagonally. Carefully distress the long edges of the two halves with scissors, and fix to a sheet of 12 x 12" Mr Smith's Workshop paper.

2. Mat your selected picture on several layers of Willson Wood papers, using double-sided tape to adhere each layer. Attach to the centre of the page with double-sided tape.

3. Create a cluster of embellishments around your photo with Willson Wood die-cuts and decoupage. Use the die-cut letters and banner to add a title.
