Xcut Easter card

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 07 Mar, 2017

Why not use the covergift dies from the March issue of Creativity to create a sweet and cheerful Easter card, just like PDT member Agnieszka Kilbride has done? We love the use of bold colours to complement the gridded pattern and adorable Easter icons.

1. Trim a square card blank to measure 13cm. Die cut several frames in different colours using the Xcut Frame Dinky  Die. Fix the frames around the card as a border, adhering with Anita's Tacky Glue.

2. Die cut or fussy cut a banner, and spell out the word 'Easter' across using the Xcut Serif Alpha Mini dies. Die cut bunnies, eggs and chicks from bright cardstock, and place inside the frames using 3D foam pads.

3. Embellish the card with palm punched flowers, layered together with 3D foam pads.
