Xcut mosaic notelet

We love discovering nifty new techniques, just like this mosaic effect created using the Xcut Floral Tile Die. PDT member Jackie Jasper has die cut multiple colours to achieve this notelet, and we're loving the bold and vibrant spring theme she's incorporated.

1. Begin by die cutting the Xcut Floral Tile Die from black cardstock, and again from black Craft Planet Funky Foam. Poke out any remaining paper from the die-cut using the Xcut 4 In 1 Embossing Pen. Adhere the two die-cuts together with double-sided tape.

2. Die-cut the Xcut Floral Tile Die from yellow, teal and green cardstock a further six times. Carefully transfer different sections of the die-cuts onto the foam-backed piece from earlier, ensuring each segment is covered. Fix in place with Anita's Tacky Glue, and transfer the tile onto a 6 x 6" card blank.

3. Stamp your chosen sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock (approximately 1cm wide and the same length as the card blank) using the Papermania 5 x 5" Mini Alphas & Numbers Stamp Set. Heat emboss the sentiment with silver embossing powder, and set with a heat tool. Adhere the sentiment to the card using 3D foam tape.
